- There is beauty in fashion, but when you do it in your own fashion…. it’s a beautiful thing! This is the case with Michigan Model INDIA ASHLEY. Her story starts two years ago… the mother and wife describes her life at that point as normal, she was juggling work and school while pursuing her education to finish her bachelor’s degree. After her mother passed due to cancer, she says her life suddenly and completely changed her life.
“Shortly after [my mother] passed I ending having to quit my job and became a stay at home mom due to unfortunate circumstances. While I was home reflecting on the past events I began sewing as a hobby and past time. Little did I know that my mother used to sew and that sewing was one of the many other talents inherited from my family.”
She started off by selling her designs on Ebay just to make some extra money. As things started to pick up for her new business so did the support around her new brand. Not only did she find her calling she also found a way to get through a tough time.
“I wouldn’t believe if you told me a year ago when I started my business that I would be here, doing interviews, magazine features, runway shows and preparing to launch my online boutique. I am a living testament that God only puts on you what you can bear and once you have gone through the fire you come out as pure gold.”
Now she’s a Boss… she has a clear direction and focus on her career and the path she wants to take. Now the world will know her for her Fashion + Beauty! * : : . .
“I am going to eventually take the line beyond the swimwear and really become a household name adding active wear and intimate apparel. I plan to keep the faith and never give up on your dreams.”

When I was younger I used to change my look all the time, always wanting to be different. I change my look now once every year. It is always good as a brand to evaluate yourself from time to time.
